ABOUT POSITION

Katalon is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to join our team. The Program Manager will play a critical role in leading cross-functional initiatives and driving the successful delivery of projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the product development framework, working closely with product leaders, product managers, and engineering leaders to develop/update and roll out the framework. Ensure the framework helps improve the efficiency and quality of product teams.
  • Collaborate with product managers to build the product roadmap, keep it lively and updated, track the progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including status reports, metrics, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead cross-functional task forces in special projects that are assigned; to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with product management, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
    • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
    • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, priorities, and timelines.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement among the product teams.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to facilitate communication and understanding.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the organization.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager, preferably in the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of test automation and software testing concepts is a plus.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or other project management certifications are desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
